TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1.Subscription Fee
Each member shall pay a one-off non-refundable subscription fee of UGX 100,000, which shall become dueand payable upon expiry of the selected saving period. No withdrawal shall be permitted where the availablebalance is below UGX 100,000. The subscription fee shall be retained by the SACCO as part of membershipobligations.
2.Renewal of Account
The member’s account shall automatically renew upon expiry of the selected saving period on the same terms and conditions unless the member notifies customer care in writing or through approved digital channels or contacting customer care on Telephone Number 0200244100 prior to expiry.
Upon fully completing the first saving period, a member may request a change of the saving period.
3.Registration on Wezimbe Platform
Registration on the Wezimbe Platform shall only be effected upon full completion, submission, and verification of the application form, duly signed by the member, and confirmation that the member has read and understood all the terms and conditions.
The SACCO shall designate the registered phone number as the account number on the Wezimbe Platformand onboard the member.
The member shall dial *185*5*9# to create a four (4) digit Wezimbe PIN. Once the PIN is created,registration shall be complete and the member may commence saving.
The Wezimbe PIN shall only be used for withdrawals upon maturity and for balance inquiries
Management reserves absolute discretion to approve or decline registration.
The Airtel Money PIN shall only be used by the member When depositing money on the SACCO Account.
4.Deposit and Withdrawal Charges
All deposits shall attract a service charge of UGX 250 per transaction. Withdrawals between UGX 5,000 and UGX 500,000 shall attract a charge of UGX 1,000, while withdrawals above UGX 500,000 shall attract a charge of UGX 2,000. The SACCO reserves the right to revise charges upon reasonable notice to members.
5.Customer Care
Members may contact customer care for inquiries, complaints, or clarifications through telephone number 0200244100 or other officially designated communication channels.
6.Account Statements
The SACCO shall provide account statements upon request. Members shall promptly report any discrepancies.Failure to notify the SACCO within reasonable time shall be deemed acceptance of the statement.
7.Account Closure
An account may be closed upon written request by the member or at the discretion of the SACCO in cases ofinactivity, breach of regulations, fraud, or regulatory requirements. Any outstanding obligations must be settled prior to closure.
8.Disclosure of Information
The SACCO may disclose member information to regulators, affiliates, service providers, or authorities where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes, subject to confidentiality obligations
